How to fit an Arabic voiceover into a short video

Shorten an Arabic voiceover to fit a fixed video timeline. Includes a worked script edit, a timing checklist and a review process before you generate again.

Measure the available speech time first

If the whole video is 30 seconds, the voiceover may have less time. A title card, a product close-up or a final button can need a quiet moment. Mark the first and last frames that can contain speech before you start cutting the script.

Give each scene one job

Write down what the viewer needs to hear in each scene. For a short screen demonstration, that might be the task, the main action and the next step. Keep interface details on screen when they are already legible. Reading every label aloud can leave no room for the useful explanation.

Here is an illustrative edit for a fictional appointment-booking tool. It is writing advice, not a claim about a FasihTTS feature or a timed recording.

The shorter version keeps the three actions and removes repeated introductions. If the video also needs to explain a cancellation condition, keep that information somewhere clear. Do not shorten a script by hiding a condition the buyer needs to know.

Test the delivery you will actually use

In FasihTTS, choose the language or dialect and voice you intend to keep for the project. Listen to an available public sample first, then check the displayed usage and options before generating your own text. A sample helps you assess a voice; it does not establish the duration of your script.

The existing MSA recording below is a voice reference. It does not read the appointment-booking example and is not a 30-second timing test. Playing it does not generate your script.

Play the result alongside the video in your editing software. Note the point where speech falls behind the picture. If only one sentence is crowded, rewrite that sentence instead of rewriting the entire narration. Keep the voice choice consistent while testing so you can judge what the edit changed.

Try this voice with your text

If the audio is still too long

Avoid assuming that speeding up the finished audio will solve every problem. Listen for clipped endings, unnatural rhythm and instructions that have become hard to follow. FasihTTS generation is not a promise of frame-exact timing; the final alignment belongs in your video-editing workflow.

  • Remove a repeated idea before removing a meaningful pause.
  • Replace an introductory phrase with the action itself.
  • Move optional detail to an on-screen caption only if it remains readable.
  • Split a sentence at a natural boundary when the next scene has room.
  • If the essential explanation still does not fit, extend the scene or reduce the scope of the video.

Approve the complete video, not the isolated audio

Watch once without looking at the script. Can you understand the action before the scene changes? Then check names, numbers and the final instruction against the approved text. Review on a phone as well as with headphones, especially when music is present.

Keep the approved script and audio together. A later change to a price, product name or instruction may require a new recording and timing pass.
